Vasco offers a wide range of innovative and sustainable total solutions in the field of heating, ventilation and cooling for an optimal indoor climate. Vasco supplies high quality and internationally awarded designer radiators that are characterized by the combination of top design and functionality. The quality brands for panel radiators are Superia in Belgium and Brugman in Germany, France, Poland and the Netherlands. Besides radiators, Vasco is also a major player in the field of ventilation, heat pumps and underfloor heating. The production plants are located in Belgium, the Netherlands and Poland. Vasco, with headquarters in Dilsen (BE), has about 500 employees and is part of the Swiss Arbonia Group.

In order to give shape to its growth ambitions Vasco is looking for a driven:

DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER VENTILATION

Duties And Responsibilities
  • You will actively participate in the design, development and realization of new market-oriented products with a focus on ventilation and related controls.
  • You develop concepts that optimally meet the required technical specifications, quality, design and unique selling points.
  • You give direction to projects or subprojects and you lead the communication with the various stakeholders in the right direction.
  • You help determine the right choice of components through contacts with suppliers.
  • You supervise inspections at external inspection bodies both at home and abroad.
  • You support the quality and service department in analyzing the root-causes of field problems.
  • You have contacts and cooperation with engineers in other product segments and with other R&D departments within the Arbonia group.
  • You report directly to the R&D manager.
Profiel kandidaat

Profile
  • You have a master’s degree in engineering (preferably with specialization in thermodynamics or energy techniques) or a higher technical education.
  • You have experience with the design process of technical products.
  • You have a healthy dose of creativity and a good technical knowledge, you can independently conduct in-depth technical research.
  • Preferably you have several years of experience with ventilation systems.
  • You are a team player who is well connected to his wider environment and communicates fluently.
  • You are solution and result oriented.
  • You have a good knowledge of English (French and German are a plus).
