Astara Belux is a joint-venture between the Spanish Astara (former Bergé Auto) and the Belgian Alcopa group. It is an important European actor in the import and distribution of several car and light commercial vehicle brands. Currently the portfolio includes Hyundai (Belux), Suzuki (Belux), Isuzu (Benelux and Poland), SsangYong (Benelux, Germany and Switzerland), Maxus (Belux, Germany and Switzerland), MG (Belux) and Aiways (Switzerland).

Job description

The automotive landscape is in full transition nowadays, with digitalization, electrification, and new forms of mobility. Astara will offer a whole range of products and services focused on mobility such as ownership, subscription, B2B / B2C, and new channels; supported by a digital platform, which allows interaction with customers throughout the different steps in the customer journey.

To help shape this transition together with Astara Global across the different countries and brands we have put the “Business Performance and Digital Transformation” department in place at the Astara Belux HQ in Kontich. This department will facilitate our transformation into a data & digitally driven company. We are currently hiring a Digital Development Expert to strengthen this department.

Purpose of the position

You will facilitate a digital first & customer centered strategy to deliver the ultimate digital automotive sales experience. The digital development segment will focus on the implementation of new digital tools and new digital retail channels.

As our Digital Development Expert, you will be responsible for the implementation of Digital Projectsand Digital Development.

• Digital Projects Implementation: you will be responsible for the technical implementation of new digital tools (f.ex. marketing dashboard, CRM, etc…) and new digital retail channels (f.ex. implementation of brand specific and multibrand online stores, subscription platforms for B2B & B2C) for all brands and countries.
• Digital Development: you will create the ultimate online automotive experience in line with Astara Global strategy by setting up the ideal customer journey and according flows in SalesForce (marketingcloud & CRM). This includes the set-up of the complete customer journey which can be deployed by the various brands/countries within our territory.

Main tasks and responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and execute the implementation of new digital projects
• Manage set-up and configurate new online tools like f.ex. B2B CRM, Marketing Dashboard, Reporting tools, etc….
• Set-up and A-Z project management of new digital projects together with Astara Global
• Set up a deployment roadmap
• You will be in frequent contact with all relevant stakeholders within the different brands, departments and countries of deployment
• Strive to further optimizations of our digital landscape and pro-actively come with ideas/business improvements
• You will obtain thorough knowledge of a customer journey and the digital touch points along the customer’s life-cycle
• You will translate “IT problems” into “Business solutions”

Profile

To be successfulin this role, you will need:

• Minimum of 3-5 years related experience working in developing and managing digital projects and/or marketing automation and CRM system.
• Broad technical skills and expertise with:

- Marketing automation tools (SalesForce Marketing Cloud is a must/Selligent is considered a plus)

- CRM systems (SalesForce)

- Data reporting (SalesForce Datorama)

• An eagerness to work on new digital business ideas (out-of-the-box thinking needed)
• A strong business acumen to develop digital market strategies
• Excellent communication skills - written, verbal and presentation (in English)
• Strong collaboration skills to work with interdepartmental disciplines in a multicultural and multilanguage environment.
• Excellent project management skills and a proactive approach
• An eagerness to work in a fast paced, iterative, deadline driven environment
