Position Summary: The Director Mobile Automation – EMEA is responsible for leading the strategy, execution and management of the Mobile Automation business for the EMEA region. This position will be responsible for the virtual P&L, best practices, support, and growth of the business associated with our Mobile Automation solutions in partnership with our regional Sales and Engineering leadership. You will support all KION Group Operating Units (OUs) and Brands in EMEA, including but not limited to: Linde, STILL, and Dematic. You will provide leadership for our go-to-market strategy, regional and market input for the product roadmap, strategic positioning of key opportunities, and collaboration with other Mobile Automation regions (APAC and N.A.). Key Responsibilities: - General Daily Management of the legal entity, supporting the Global and Regional management to act in compliance with the country and region’s laws and regulations, in all aspects of the business (Tax, HR, Social security, Public Health and Safety, Contracts, a.s.o) - Build and manage a high-performance MA business team consisting of Solution Development, Project Engineering, Project Management, System Engineering and System Installation focused on our KION Group Mobile Automation platform - Partner with regional sales leadership to enhance our MA content in global solutions and meet the regional OU sales goals - Active participation to draw up, submit, implement and follow up of the entities’ yearly budgets (OI, NS, GP and EBIT) as part of the Region or Group strategic goals. - Develop and manage metrics/success criteria for each group within the region, coordinated with those of other regions - Support the Global Product Management function within MA, including roadmap development for customer needs, internal needs, market needs - Chair the Mobile Automation EMEA region and its adoption across key accounts and KION Group OUs within EMEA - Support the Customer Service organizations within MA and each OU - Work with the executive team to identify and develop strategic alliances that enhance our overall customer solution - Partner with Manufacturing leadership to reduce cost and production times of AGVs - Represent the company at customer, partner, and industry events - Consistently coach and develop Solution Development, Project Engineering and Project Management, System Engineering and System Installation resources on positioning and deploying our MA platforms and demonstrating the KION core values of integrity, cooperation, courage and excellence. - Measures of Success: - Adoption of our Mobile Automation solutions in EMEA and other regions - Virtual P&L results for MA in EMEA - Growth in Mobile Automation globally - Common platform development and performance improvement - Internal and external Customer satisfactionWhat we offer:

Education

Tasks and Qualifications:

• BA/BS degree is required
• MBA or Master’s Degree is strongly preferred
  

Qualifications

• 5+ years required of management experience
• 5+ years required of technology industry experience, preferably with Mobile Automation experience within Automated Material Handling Solutions
• Track record of building and managing a successful project execution and / or sales support team
• Team player as demonstrated by customer and professional references
• Exceptional interpersonal, presentation, negotiation, influencing and written/verbal communication skills ( English, German and Dutch)
• Demonstrate a willingness to be flexible, versatile and/or tolerant in a changing work environment while maintaining effectiveness and efficiency.
• Anticipate, understand, and respond to the needs of internal and external clients to meet or exceed their expectations within the organizational parameters.
• Assess situations to determine the importance, urgency and risks, and make clear decisions which are timely and in the best interests of the organization.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a multi­cultural, geographically distributed organization
• Willingness to travel regionally and globally between 20% and 30% of the time
