Job Purpose

In this position you will have unique opportunity to learn supply chain operational planning activities. Distribution Planning team uses advanced systems to allocate products throughout logistics network and interacts with other departments - production planning, tactical planning, sales and customer service in order to make sure production allocation is optimal. You will be asked to analyze the different levels related to distribution planning, such as demand fluctuation, order collection and inventory levels.

You interact with Regional Planners to ensure parameters and master data are properly set in the system to allow a proper replenishment (inventory strategy, inventory levels, fcst integrations, …).

Based on rhythm of learning you will gradually step into supporting your regions with any requirements they may have that requires headquarter intervention.

You pro-actively manage and review the plan and propose actions to the several stakeholders (Regional Planners, Sales Team, Managers, Production Planners,…).

Responsibilities

• Ensure an uninterrupted supply to assigned regions by solving operational supply issues
• Analyze accuracy of system deployment proposal
• Report & analyze during the month proactively the regional fill rate and back order situation and propose actions to sales (substitution, order cancellation, ...)
• Monitor execution of the deployment plan in the plants of your region
• Discuss on weekly basis STO reliability and propose corrective actions in case needed
  

Profile

• University degree in Supply Chain, Engineering or a related field;
• Proven practice in supply chain area
• Knowledge of SAP R3 and OMP is a plus
• Fluent in English
• Advanced Excel skills
• Strong proven interest in supply chain subject
• Hands-on person with high level of accuracy
• Familiar with the interpretation of numbers and figures from a business point of view
• Adapt to fast change easily in an efficient way
• Able to communicate clearly your thoughts, ideas, solutions to non-supply chain colleagues
• True team player who loves to work in a very international team
