Under the guidance of the Engineering Manager and Project Lead, your responsibilities will include:Engineering
- Design and create general E&IC study documents (single-line diagrams, consumer lists, cable lists, control-command architecture, functional analyses, I/O lists, calculations, etc.) for different systems/circuits (low/medium voltage power, DC & UPS, control cabinets & I/O racks, CC/centralized supervision development & integration, grounding, lighting, ICT, CCTV, fire detection, lightning protection, etc.).
- Design, size, and specify E&IC project equipment (generator alternators, power transformers, MV cells, switchboards & auxiliary power cabinets, inverters/batteries, fire detection, CCTV, lightning protection, etc.).
- Contribute to the development of P&IDs and associated functional descriptions under the lead of mechanical engineers.
- Define E&IC impositions for electromechanical packages managed by the project’s mechanical engineer.
- Design and size grounding networks and short-circuit currents.
- Define, size, and specify cables, protections, and pathways following applicable standards.
- Guide and supervise drafters for the creation of electrical layout plans and cable routing plans.
- Prepare measurements and component lists (BOMs) for cable orders, cable trays, outlets, and accessories for all circuits mentioned above.
- Compile construction files for handover to the end client.
- Request quotations, perform technical-commercial analyses, negotiate and place orders under the supervision of the project lead.
- Oversee suppliers from A to Z, including factory acceptance testing (FAT), for the entire electrical scope.
- Prepare E&IC assembly and commissioning manuals.
- Provide first-line support to field supervisors for E&IC aspects, occasionally visiting sites when necessary.
- Manage as-built documentation (E&IC part).
- Analyze tender specifications from clients.
- Develop technical-commercial proposals for E&IC project scope, ensuring client satisfaction, functionality, and performance while optimizing cost.
- Assist in the E&IC part of technical-commercial proposals under the guidance of the Technical Director.
- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 7 years of proven experience in a similar role for large-scale multidisciplinary industrial projects, preferably with international exposure.
- Solid understanding of E&IC aspects (low/medium/high voltage, instrumentation, control command).
- Solid understanding of industrial processes (P&IDs, functional analyses, etc.).
- Technical expertise in the industrial equipment listed in the job description.
- Basic understanding of interfaces with mechanical aspects.
- On-site technical experience (for integration into studies + technical support during assembly and commissioning).
- Team player with autonomy, open-mindedness, and a proactive approach.
- Willingness to travel for short missions abroad to oversee suppliers (FAT in Europe/Asia) and projects (Africa).
- Fluent in French (native).
