The Event Process Specialist (EPS) works within the Event Process Office team, which is part of the Business Operations team of Janssen Cilag (marketing and sales organization of Janssen). The EPS-team is active in the Benelux region and consists of multiple team members in both Belgium (Beerse) and Netherlands (Breda).

The Event Process Specialist will be responsible for the coordination of several patient related events and initiatives. He/she acts as a business partner and supports the end-to-end coordination of all events/initiatives with involvement of external stakeholders
(i.e. patient organizations). This includes all types of events such as advisory boards, consultancies, sponsorships, and other patient organization requests.

In this domain the EPS colleague is responsible for the creation, execution and finalization of events in close collaboration with the business partners:
  • Participate to event intake meetings to clearly understand the business needs
  • Pre-event tasks: administrative follow-up of event
oIn case of sponsorship requests: review documentation and completeness of the request. Follow-up with internal and external stakeholders until legal and compliance approval is received. ...
oIn case of Janssen owned events: get in contact with 3rd parties for logistics arrangements (location, meals, travel, lodging, digitization possibilities, ...)
oEvent related contract management
oFollow up and coordination of event communication journey
oCoordination of other practicalities
  • Post-event tasks
oAdministrative finalization tasks (evidence gathering, invoice payment, ...)
oDisclosure reporting

    • 1-3 jaar

    • bachelor degree or higher with specialization in event coordination.
    • some first work experience is preferred.
    • excellent interpersonal, organizational skills and time-management skills.
    • able to communicate with several internal and external stakeholders (inform, advise, coordinate, challenge and evaluate) and to bring key messages in a simple manner to patients and/or patient organizations.
    • demonstrates pro-activity, ownership, multi-disciplinary collaboration, flexibility and agility.
    • takes accountability for own actions.
    • able to identify and resolve issues that arise during execution of task.
    • deals well with ambiguity and can manage conflicts in an open and constructive manner.
    • acts as a team player and has the make-it-happen mindset with excellent project management and planning skills.
    • knowledge of the dutch and english language, written as well as spoken.
    • knowledge of laws, regulations and industry standards in the dutch pharmaceutical market is highly appreciated, but not required.

    ons aanbod

    • we are looking for a temporary contractor to join our dutch offices, but it is also feasible to perform most of the tasks from our offices in beerse. due to the actual covidcircumstances extended home office is possible, supported by a wide range of digital tools.
    • travel to breda is possible and in a normal working regime- recommended for (at least) 1 day per week.
    • you are available at short notice. you will replace a colleague who is absent until the end of the year.
