We are looking for an exceptional ‘pension / employee benefits’ actuary with at least 5 years of relevant experience in order to strengthen our Governance, Risk and Compliance FS Team, composed of about 65 specialists in various areas, among which about 15 actuaries.

What you’ll learn and do

• You will be responsible for actuarial valuations and international coordination of employee benefits under IFRS and US GAAP for our consulting clients.

• You will assist our audit department by answering technical questions about IFRS or US GAAP standards for employee benefits and reviewing the level of technical provisions of IORPs (Institutions for Occupational Retirement Provision) based on the Belgian legislation.

• You will work in close collaboration with several other departments by providing them with advice related to employee benefits: Tax and Legal Services, Deals or Accounting Advisory Services (e.g. GAAP conversion).

• You will be responsible for coaching less experienced colleagues and for their planning

• You will help develop our department and service offering.
  

Who you are

• A qualified actuary with at least 5 years of experience for a Manager position (with coaching experience).

• Experience in a similar consulting role, with topics such as IAS19, ASC 715, Belgian Control law for IORP, …

• A born team player with in-depth technical expertise and client-oriented.

• You have a critical mindset.

• Able to communicate complex technical matters in a clear, precise and practical manner to non specialists

• Fluent in English and in French and/or Dutch.

• Commercial skills are an asset.
