Job Purpose and Impact

The Foodservice Category Lead and Strategic Account Manager will develop ways to increase sales and revenue from one of the key development priorities for GEOS EMEA. We seek a result-oriented professional who will develop and implement a business plan, build and nurture relationships with various executive-level stakeholders, and participate in activities of marketing, sales, and engineering support to reach objectives and revenue.

Key Accountabilities
  • Lead the foodservice category: With R&D, technical, marketing and sales partners, translate customer needs into business strategy to capture commercial sales.
  • Recognize and pursue new market segments and opportunities for the category, calculate return and investment and built a long term plan.
  • Monitor market development activities to align with category business goals.
  • Manage and grow one of the strategic international foodservice accounts.
  • Prioritize market segment development activities and set revenue targets.
  • Measure performance to meet objectives, undertaking remedial action where appropriate.
  • Collaborate with other business developers to optimize market segment opportunities.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of four years of related work experience
  • Other minimum qualifications may apply
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master’s degree or another post-secondary degree.
  • Five to ten years experience in combined sales, marketing and business development in the international foodservice segment.
