We’re currently looking for a GL Accountant Manager to join an automotive company located in the Walloon Brabant.

Our client, a European company specialized in automotive is actively looking for its future GL Manager to endorse general accounting tasks for multiple entities while accompanying a small team of 4 people on a daily. You’ll have the opportunity to build a long-term and stable career in an international company that maintains a family atmosphere.

Function:

You will have the opportunity to occupy an hybrid function, operational and managerial at the same time :

  • Closing activities and annual accounts
  • Perform the balance sheet analysis and the reporting
  • Account and balance sheets reconciliation
  • All the tasks related to VAT
  • Act as the main point of contact between the Chief Accountant and the GL accounting team
  • Participate in the teams’ recruitment, evaluation & training processes

Profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting. A master is a plus
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar function.
  • A first relevant experience in People Management is a must
  • You speak French and you conducting a fluent conversation in English is not a problem for you
  • You are a real team-player and you show great communication skills.
  • Reliable and passionate by your domain, people can trust you and your expertise
