The Hardware engineer will support the re-layout, startup and verification of a complex multi layer electronic board for a medical display. You will work closely together with the embedded software team and PCB layout engineers.

Responsibilities
  • Update the schematic diagrams with the required changes.
  • Review and verify the schematic diagrams.
  • Work closely together with the PCB layout engineer to update the PCB layout.
  • Start-up the board in close cooperation with the embedded software engineers.
  • Verify the functionality, measure and debug where needed.
  • Define and execute tests for verification and validation of the design.
  • Prepare the technical documentation of the design.

Have you got what it takes?
  • Master degree in electronics or similar by experience.
  • Good knowledge of CAE programs for schematic entries (Mentor Graphics).
  • Excellent electronic debugging capabilities and problem solving.
  • Use of electronic measurement equipment.
  • Good knowledge of EMC, Power and Signal Integrity and HW design and simulation tools (Hyperlinx).
  • Digital video interfaces (DisplayPort, HDMI, SDI), and USB, Ethernet.
  • Good communication skills in English.
  • Self-directed and collaborative.
