Our Greek Branch is looking for a BI & Analytics Head to work with our client/s in the Public sector, in Athens and set up and lead a fast growing activity.

Your mission:
The Head of BI & Analytics will establish and drive the local data team and strategy, s/he will also lead the data initiatives in the designing of BI & Analytics solutions, be responsible for driving value creation using data assets to gain competitive advantage. This role will work closely with Data Scientists, Data/Business Analysts & Data Management teams.

What your role would be ?

The main domains to be impacted by the position are Business Intelligence, Data Management and Advanced Analytics (Statistics/ML/AI). The main responsibilities include:

Define, monitor and drive the data strategy of the branch and advise the customers for their current and/or future data initiatives

Develop the potential of the employees and drive their commitment through evaluation, feedback, training, recognition and communication

Hiring and resource allocation of profiles working with data-driven applications

Manage the data profiles distribution to enable new capabilities and lead new opportunities concerning data technologies

Apply indicators to facilitate the assessment and reporting of the teams’ results

Consult and support projects related to Business Intelligence, Data Management and Analytics

Requisitos

Your profile :
10+ years’ experience in business intelligence/analytics, including experience building/leading a BI team or similar

Project or technical lead of Business Intelligence and Analytics solution

Experience working in projects/products applying Data Management processes (e.g., Data Quality, Data Governance)

Project or implementation lead of Advanced Analytics solutions using big data, statistics and ML/AI

Experience on the development of streaming analytics applications

Experience managing a team of highly skilled professionals using data technologies (proprietary and open-source)

Working in a multinational environment

Managing cross-functional teams

Experience leading prototype development and innovative initiatives

Excellent communication skills

Very good English
