Our customer is a well-known company active in the Retail sector and is leader in Europe on its market.
Job Description
As HR Manager, you will be responsible for the following:
- You accompany, support, drive HR and organizational changes within the company taking the global HR Strategy into account
- As a real Business Partner, you are the main point of contact for the HR team, Managers and employees working at the Headquarter (North of Brussels) and in the several shops in Belgium
- You lead and/or participate to a variety of transversal HR projects aiming at bringing the company to the next level. By instance: implementation of new HR systems, review of recruitment procedure, digitalization of specific HR processes, centralization of activities...
- As local HR Expert, you bring strategic and operational insights (proactively or reactively) with regards to all HR topics: social legislation changes/adaptation, talent management, compensation & benefits, Labour law, contact with Unions, Health & Safety, recruitment & selection, performance management, learning & development, Works Council.
- You report to the HR Director Benelux and liaise on a regular basis with the HR team
- You visit the several shops in Belgium, discuss with Managers and employees, support them and bring advice on specific HR topics based on your professional experience
The ideal candidate can demonstrate the following skills:
- You hold a Bachelor or Master’s Degree in a relevant field (HR, Economics, Law...) or equivalent by experience
- You have more than 5 years of experience in a similar position, any experience in the Retail sector is considered as a strong asset (fast-paced environments)
- You are familiar working in a (matrix) Benelux organization
- You have strong communication skills allowing you to build and maintain productive relationships at every level of a company
- You can work autonomously, express your ideas to a Board and translate them into concrete actions. You have a real "can do" attitude.
- You are easily approachable and can guide and coach HR colleagues when required
- You have an excellent knowledge of the Belgian social legislation, you also have experience in social relations (Unions, Work Council), talent management, compensation & benefits programs, learning & development, on-boarding...The aim is to propose best-in-class HR Services and an amazing "employee experience".
- You can speak Dutch, French and English fluently
