Who We’re Looking For

We are excited to add an HR Officer to our driven HR Team. In this role you’ll work in a generalist role within the Belgian HR organisation. Your work will include handling day to day queries and providing HR advice; working on a range of HR processes from Recruitment through to Retirement; using HR systems to keep records; providing relevant HR information to the business and working with the business on HR changes.

This position requires a talented individual that excels in working with people, systems and processes. You’ll demonstrate strong drive for execution, amazing interpersonal skills & solid knowledge of HR related topics.

What You’ll do

• Support employees and Line Managers in their day-to-day work, letting them feel confident they can rely on the advice and solutions you give them.
• Use our systems and processes to deliver service to customers by being detailed, offering solutions to situations and being responsive to changing situations.
• Maintain HR records and prepare ad-hoc reports and management information from HR data, with interpretation as required.
• Interact with HR-customers and colleagues by phone, face to face, via email, the intranet on multiple topics. You’ll build trust and sound long-term relationships with customers by adapting your style to your audience and handling conflict and sensitive HR situations professionally and confidentially.
• Achieve results and build & maintain strong long term working relationships with all HR colleagues.
• Identify opportunities to improve HR performance and service, acting on them within the authority of your role. You’ll also support the implementation of HR changes and projects with the business.
• Be involved in a range of HR processes from Recruitment through to Retirement.

What You’ll Need

You will have good HR knowledge and a first experience working as an HR generalist or recruiter. You will have an enthusiastic attitude; a proactive approach, excellent communication & interpersonal skills.

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or in a relevant Human Resources technical discipline
• Ability work in Dutch, French and English
• 3-5 years related experience in Human Resources
• Proven experience in HR administration
• Experience with end user customer support
• Experience of HR systems (knowledge of SAP is a plus)
• Demonstrated experience interacting with employees and management at all levels and providing excellent customer service
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Can do attitude
