To support the growth of its activities, IBA is looking for a new Infrastructure Engineer colleague.
Challenges we trust you with
As an IT Infrastructure Associate, you will play a crucial role in supporting and maintaining our company’s IT infrastructure. You will work closely with the senior members of the IT team to ensure the smooth operation and security of our systems. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
  • Technical Support: Provide second-line technical support to employees and end-users for hardware, software, and network-related issues. Troubleshoot and resolve problems promptly to minimize downtime and disruptions.
  • System Administration: Assist in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of servers, network devices, and other IT infrastructure components. Collaborate with the senior team members on system updates, patches, and upgrades.
  • Network Management: Help in monitoring and managing the organization’s network infrastructure. Participate in network troubleshooting, ensuring optimal network performance and availability.
  • Security and Data Protection: Assist in implementing and enforcing IT security policies and procedures. Contribute to data backup and disaster recovery processes to safeguard critical information.
  • IT Asset Management: Maintain an accurate inventory of IT assets, including hardware, software licenses, and peripherals. Assist with procurement and deployment of new equipment as needed.
  • Documentation: Create and update technical documentation, including standard operating procedures, configuration guides, and knowledge base articles.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, system administrators, and business stakeholders, to support IT projects and initiatives.
  • Stay Current with Technology: Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to IT infrastructure. Continuously improve your skills and knowledge.
What we value
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated passion for technology and eagerness to learn and grow in the IT infrastructure field.
  • Basic understanding of networking principles, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.
  • Familiarity with Windows and/or Linux operating systems.
  • Some experience with server administration and virtualization technologies is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work well under pressure.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with team members and end-users.
  • Certifications such as Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator, or Cisco CCNA are beneficial but not required.
