Solvay is a market leader in hydrogen peroxide, both in market share and technology. Hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) is used mainly by the paper industry to bleach pulp. Its properties are also of interest to many markets, such as chemicals, food, textiles, and the environment.

Job Overview and Responsibilities

As insides sales representative you will play a fundamental role in offering our customers an end-to-end delivery experience.

By E2E we mean:
  • Manage requests from prospects coming from the website & ensure diligent follow up to capture potential new business
  • For the dedicated customers portfolio, ensure negotiations of the deal until the end
  • Ensure proper execution of customers’ orders and return orders, until invoice and, when necessary, post-invoicing. Ensure proper execution of corrective documents such as re-routing, credit and debit notes.
  • Follow up order book and manage forecasts in Dynasys
  • Collect & coordinate customers complaints and ensure resolution & eradication of the root causes
  • Look for innovation and continuous improvements in the process, in order to optimize the activities and increase the productivity in the activities performed within Solvay
  • Collect customer insights and share them with the relevant stakeholders. Identify challenges & improvement ideas that could either improve customer satisfaction or reduce costs to serve them

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor degree in economics or comparable education
  • First experience in a sales or sales-related position is a must
  • Having worked with industrial customers is a plus

Skills

  • Business management mindset: manage customer portfolio in a way that boosts customer satisfaction while focusing on profitability at the same time
  • Digital driven - candidates should be at ease with tools like Google Collaboration suite (excel, word, slide) and with CRM Salesforce
  • SAP knowledge, TMS & VMI experience are strong assets.
  • Excellent assertive communications skills for both internal & external
  • Team spirit & collaboration in and outside the SC team
  • Priority setting & time management (structure the tasks to boost efficiency)
  • Open for change and to take the lead to drive it
  • Diligence regarding process (follow up)
  • Resourceful, empowered & accountable - to solve issue in full autonomy

Additional Information

Full proficiency in English is a must. Then, full proficiency in one of these languages is required: French, Dutch, Portuguese, Spanish, Italian, Finnish, German. Priority languages arein bold.
