You are the daily hero of our customers and end users by ensuring they are safe and have the highest quality equipment.At KONE you receive an extensive training package, consisting of a combination of internal training and coaching in the field by experienced colleagues. You can expand your knowledge as a technician in one of our other departments (Maintenance, Modernization, Escalators or Doors), become a technical expert for your region, take on a challenge as a team leader or join our central services.A Grasp Of Your ResponsibilitiesAs an Installation Technician you install and assemble elevators in new or existing building. These are different types of buildings such as residential, commercial, offices, healthcare institutions, ... . You carry out the work on the basis of installation procedures and plans. The complete installation, electrical connections and all finishing touches such as signaling, lighting, sensors, ... are your responsibility.
  • Management of site logistics (delivery of equipment, receipt of equipment) and site preparation;
  • You are responsible for safety on the site and ensure an orderly workplace during the installation
  • Installation and wiring of new lifts according to the assembly methods, in accordance with the applicable standards and contractual deadlines.
  • You communicate with the customer about the daily work and you report to your Team Leader on the progress of the work
What We Expect From You
  • You already have a good knowledge of electricity or electromechanics, through your studies, previous work experience or leisure activities. Experience in the elevator sector is a plus.
  • You are customer-friendly and you attach great importance to safety
  • You have a great technical affinity and always want to expand your knowledge
  • You have no problem being part of the on-call duty
  • You speak fluently English and have a working knowledge of Dutch or are willing to invest in Dutch courses.
  • You are legally entitled to work in belgium and in possession of a driving license B
