Interim Finance Director (m/f/d)

The Damovo Group has an immediate opportunity for an experienced Interim Finance Executive to join our team in the Northern Region, based in the Brussels or Luxembourg area. The initial requirement is for 6- 8 months, but for the right candidate, this opportunity may evolve into a full-time position supporting the Damovo Northern Region.

The focus of this role is to support our Managing Director on several high priority projects. This opportunity will suit a well-rounded Finance Director with extensive experience.

The core responsibilities will include:

• Directly lead specific high priority projects in the areas of debt financing and M&A
• Execution of due diligence process in M&A transactions as well as identifying targets for inorganic growth
• Take primary day to day responsibility for managing and expanding financing relationships with lenders
• Providing strategic recommendations to the Managing Director
• Provide comprehensive financial and project management reporting to the CEO, Senior Management, private equity ownership group and lenders
• Establishing and developing relations with senior management, external partners, vendors and stakeholders
• Managing the processes for financial forecasting and budgets
• Manage the production and compilation of all lender, buyer and seller presentations
• Prepare reliable current and forecasting reports
• Advising on long-term business and financial planning

• An MBA in Finance, Accounting or Economics is highly desirable
• Proven experience and 10+ years of relevant finance and team management experience - preferably international
• Experience with tax, Benelux regulatory framework, and purchase price accounting
• Experience with finance systems and ERP
• Experience with remote management of teams
• Flexible for travel in Europe
• Experience from IT Industry, preferably SaaS with strong IFRS 15 and 16 exposure
• The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• A hunger to execute and deliver optimal results for the business, as well as flourish in an entrepreneurial environment
• In depth knowledge of corporate financial law and risk management practices
• Excellent knowledge of data analysis, budgeting and forecasting methods
• Ability to strategize and solve problems
• Strong leadership and presentation skills
• Fluent in written and spoken English is a must
