Project description

With his/her team, the project manager must integrate a software package or develop a specific solution tailored to the needs of customers or internal users of a company. He/she must manage projects so that costs, schedules, deadlines, specifications and technical constraints are met. His/her role starts at the design stage (completion time, budget, number of developers) then kicks off and coordinates the project. In the final stage, after supervising the development of the computer solution, the project manager participates in implementing the tool and, if necessary, gathers suggested improvements.

Lines of Communication

You will be in contact with the CIO, the infrastructure teams, the business divisions and supporting teams, the IS project leaders and other analysts.

Responsibilities

• You become part of a team of 6 project leaders. This team is part of a recent and dynamic team of about 150 analysts, architects, developers, SDMs, service coordinators and PL’s.
• You structure the program to move 400 internal collaborators from one legal entity to the other. The processes and tools in those entities are not aligned. The goal is to minimize the impact on the end users and to do the move before the end of 2022. After the hypercare of this program you remain in the project leader team and take up other projects.
• You structure the project and follow-up all aspects. You ensure all different IT parties collaborate and deliver.
• You work on new implementations, migrations, obsolescence initiatives. You could also be responsible for a track of a greater project.
• You take responsibility for every IT aspect: from servers to user experience of mobile apps. Main component of most projects will be applications.
• You assist the team and business to create more internal structure (portfolio, resource forecasting,…).

Project management

• Ensure that the development or projects are relevant and timely
• Define the test strategy
• Suggest and manage final acceptance of the project(s)
• Organize, schedule and oversee the completion of a complex project or a project requiring many interfaces with other projects without violating the project’s constraints
• Support the service responsible (Service Delivery Manager) to bring the project from project mode into service modeCommunication/Leadership
• Lead all actions required for successful project completion
• Manage and present information to the teams and various bodies
• Prepare and lead change managementResource management
• Manage, optimize and be responsible for all project resources (human resources, budget, customers, final decision)
• Be in charge of the financial management of projects as well as of all defined requirements (quality, costs, times, risks, etc.)

• You have at least 5 years of experience as IT project leader on applications.
• You have worked for at least 2 years in an agile environment.
• You are open for very regular mobility across all sites of the company
• Software: MS Office, Azure devops, Visio
• Languages: full professional proficiency in English and Dutch and French

Nice to have

• Any knowledge of Cloud solutions and connectivity
• Experience in change management
• Experience in organizational change tracks
• Communicative, team leader, rigor, leadership, method, business knowledge, good writing skills, strategic vision and understanding of technology-related issues, know how to challenge need.
• Master’s degree (known as Bac+5 in France) equivalent through experienceFluent in (one of the) national language(s), knowledge of ITIL or project methodologies (as Prince2, PMI,....), Experience in project management.
