Are you an amazing IT Solution Expert Serialization & Warehouse Management eager to join our Supply and Technology Solutions department,based in our Braine L’Alleudoffice in Belgium?

As the IT Solution Expert Serialization & Warehouse Management, you will create strong business relationships and partner with key stakeholders in Supply Chain, supporting the definition of the digital roadmap, enabling the Supply Chain strategy and priorities, and ensuring efficient operation of our applications. All these responsibilities converge towards a single objective: improving the lives of our patients.

In this role, you will master the Global Supply Chain Data Foundation and Flows. You will be able to develop your skills and contribute to UCB development in domains such as inventory & warehousing process, external manufacturing, primary distribution, and serialization processes. One of our main goals is to achieve operational efficiency through the design of global IT solutions.

You will:

• Partner with your stakeholders: Create strong relationships and communicate with your stakeholders. Together with them, define the strategic evolution of our systems by discussing business requirements on a global and local level with process owners and key users, mainly from the Warehousing, external manufacturing, and Serialization teams.
• Design and lead the implementation of global projects and process improvements linked to SAP Material & Warehouse Management in close collaboration with all parties involved (internal and external partners) by using the UCB IT methodology, and ensuring that our solutions are compliant with the regulations.
• Set up and monitor the operational support model: Ensure that our IT support teams have the right organization and capabilities to deliver a high quality of support to our colleagues in Supply Chain.
• Drive innovation: Stay up-to-date in terms of new technologies and market trends to evaluate each opportunity of evolution for UCB. Collaborate with the external partners (IT suppliers, pharma companies, Contract Manufacturing Organizations , 3rd Party Logistic Providers , …) to stay informed about the technology trends within the pharmaceutical sector.
• Contribute in the definition of the future technology roadmap by identifying value adding technology opportunities, and support the implementation of SAP S/4HANA.

Interested? For this position you’ll need the following education, experience and skills:

• Experience as a functional analyst in SAP, preferably in External Manufacturing, Warehouse Management, Serialization, and electronic data exchange
• Experience in the design and tailoring of SAP solutions
• Love working with multi-functional teams in a global organization
• You have international exposure, and experience in working with offshore teams
• You can easily switch from an IT discussion to a senior management presentation, as you have the ability to adapt your communication style to your audience
• Managing multiple projects and priorities comes naturally to you
• You are a team player strongly focused on providing results
• You are digital-minded and you can directly see how new technologies could help achieve our organization’s objectives
• As we are working in a global environment, you can communicate fluently in English. French is considered as a plus.
