IT-Sourcing Divisional Commodity Manager

As a divisional commodity manager, you support various divisions within different Compressor Technique (CT) companies with the purchase of software and IT services.
You contribute to the divisional targets by leveraging supplier innovation capabilities and consolidating volumes for core IT commodities,
You will be the account manager for key suppliers, coordinating across the CT divisions, striving for global operational excellence of the respective suppliers assigned to you in order to meet the specific needs of all internal customers.
You will be reporting to the Sourcing Manager Indirect en IT.

• 
  In consultation with the internal customer, you will build a clear understanding of the CT divisions key value objectives for a given commodity and organize commodity team meetings in order to develop balanced commodity strategies in line with the needs of the customers within the different CT divisions.

• 
  You will convert technical into functional requirements and send quotation requests for the purchase of IT solutions (hardware, software, ...)
  • You analyze the offers and prepare the award documents
  • Together with the other purchasing team members, you act as IT-SPOC for all departments within.
  • You are in contact with other IT purchasing departments at group level

• 
  Contract management
  • You launch and monitor the implementation of the awarded IT contracts, in collaboration with the legal department.
  • You negotiate prices, modalities, conditions and contracts for IT goods and services.
  • You monitor the competitive nature and equality of the contracts concluded with suppliers and IT service providers.

• 
  Supplier management:
  • You are responsible for the sourcing and identification of the service providers.
  • You follow up on the latest technology evolutions and market trends
  • You organize and lead follow-up meetings with suppliers.
  • You monitor compliance with the purchasing procedure and ensure that the relationships between customers and suppliers are in balance.

Your education and experience

• You have a higher education diploma of the long type or a university degree.
• You have already 4 years of relevant professional experience in a commercial position.
• You have knowledge of or affinity with the IT sector to quickly gain good product knowledge

• You can bring committed partners together around a common goal.
• Knowledge of Dutch is an asset.
