We are currently looking for an IT Support Officer to join our fast-growing team in Brussels, with the following characteristics:Main Responsibilities:
IT asset inventory & lifecycle management (hardware assets as well as software licenses)
Manage hardware and software suppliers (Dell, Cisco, Proximus/Vodafone …)
Manage local IT purchasing, and payment processes
Maintain the department’s general documentation, document technical processes and standardized procedures.
Logging & resolving customer/employee queries
Provide basic troubleshooting assistance to end users which includes answering incoming calls/emails, addressing issues that can be quickly resolved and routing/escalating trouble tickets to the appropriate resource.
Detailed tasks and involved technologies
IT Equipment Inventory Management
Inventory Control
Assignment and withdrawal of IT equipment to new and existing users with BMC Remedy
Follow-up on physical deliveries and returns of equipment and the administrative forms.
Follow-up on local IT purchasing and payment processes on the company’s platform for which training is provided.
Processes and procedures
Collect, document, or translate internal processes and procedures in SharePoint.
Populate the FAQ and end user pages on SharePoint.

Requirements
You are hands-on and have a great affinity with computers and smartphones.
Basic knowledge (1st line level) of IT support is a strong plus. You’re willing to acquire more technical knowledge.
You are well organized and take care of every detail.
You are flexible, service and ‘customer’ minded. You take pride in delivering an excellent service.
You adhere to defined processes and procedures and suggest improvements.
You have strong problem-solving, great interpersonal and analytical skills.
You are fluent in English, knowledge of Dutch and/or French is highly desired.
