Overview

We are looking for an IT Support Engineer who will be located at the EMENA HQ of Herentals (Belgium). He/she will will w ork closely together with the regional IT team and provide support to all Kemin employees in the region of Europe, Middle East and North Africa.

Our IT Support Department is key to keeping the business operating and aim to provide a first-class service to all internal customers. Spread across Kemin’s EMEA offices in Italy, Belgium, Russia and South Africa, the team works together to ensure customer requests are dealt with as soon as possible via the ticketing system, support meet-ups and presentations, and implement new technologies to make cross-country collaboration possible.

Responsibilities
  • Provide 2nd line support on all aspects of IT for the Kemin ope rations. If needed , assist in 1st line support.
  • Implement projects to improve the IT infrastructure , following detailed instructions in English
  • Good system learner, capable to understand complex IT environment and troubleshoot them.
  • Suggest and implement improvement in digitalization and automation (Power flows, Powershell...)
  • Give support on ERP, Sharepoint, Flow, O365 and PowerBI applications (Training will be provided)
  • Record & follow up on issues in Kemin’s IT helpdesk system
Qualifications
  • Bachelor in IT is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in an IT support role
  • Strong willingness to master new systems. Training will be provided (internal/external).
  • High level of flexibility, curious, keen to learn and teach others about different application systems.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills
  • Good knowledge of PC’s, Windows OS, Office 365, AD, Networking.
  • Knowledge of SharePoint, PowerBI is nice to have
  • Dutch speaking with good communication skills in English. Capable to follow complex instructions in English.
  • Be self-organizing and able to prioritize tasks
  • Good customer service skills.
  • Team player.
  • Takes initiative.
