We are looking for a Junior Buyer to join our Finance team at Decathlon Belgium. In this role, you will be instrumental in elevating the department and its services to new heights. As the Junior Buyer, you will take ownership of all indirect purchasing expenditures—focusing not on sports products but on the vital goods and services that keep our operations running. From sourcing innovative tools to selecting social media support partners or even choosing our office coffee supplier, your contributions will directly impact our success.

You will serve as the first point of contact for all procurement-related queries, with a deep understanding of procurement processes. Your responsibilities will include leading small projects and negotiations, managing procurement workflows through our internal tool (GEX), and collaborating with colleagues across the organization to meet their procurement needs. Additionally, you will provide training sessions to enhance their understanding of procurement practices.

This role offers broad exposure to different business areas and the opportunity to grow within Decathlon. With your expanding expertise, you can advance into a tactical buyer role or explore exciting international opportunities with our global Decathlon team.

Key Responsibilities

• You are a core member of the Finance team, collaborating with Legal and international teams.
• You assist in negotiations for RFQs and RFPs, progressing toward independently managing these processes.
• You develop and implement procurement strategies, including delivering training sessions to colleagues.
• You addressdaily procurement inquiries across the organization.
• Youoptimize the Purchase-to-Pay process, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
• You create and manage internal catalogs within GEX, handling procurement orders seamlessly.
