For oureMobility division, we are looking for a Junior Field Service Representative who works for the region of Belgium & the Netherlands Cluster. This position based in Uccle.

The eMobility market is expanding at a rapid pace, with the global electric car fleet reaching 9 million at the end of 2020, up 1,7 million from 2019, despite the global sanitary crisis context. As we scale the electrification of our mobility in order to fight climate change, Schneider Electric offers a unique range of electric vehicle AC and DC chargers, power distribution, load management controllers, and an eMobility Digital Platform to enable our customers and partners to operate their EV charging infrastructure.

To support our growth, we are currently looking for a Junior Field Service Representative (FSR) to reinforce our eMobility services team. You will be working in a cross-functional, multi-cultural, and multi-country environment. The FSR is reporting to the Manager of Building Solution & Services with a dotted line to the eMobility division.

Your Daily Task And Responsibilities
  • Advise customers on best practices, new services, and upgrade opportunities
  • Provide outstanding & on-site customer service
  • Perform commissioning on (charging) equipment across the Schneider Electric portfolio
  • Maintain service equipment, tools, and documentation
  • Perform preventive, scheduled, and unscheduled maintenance on equipment
  • Support serviceable Schneider equipment
  • Contribute to small projects coordination and execution on customer site (e.g., end of life, modernization, upgrades)
  • Perform basic audits of customers’ electrical systems and equipment
  • Research, evaluate, and recommend new products or equipment upgrades that will meet customer needs.
  • Assist Schneider Electric (Service) partners in site visits, evaluating technical and professional performance.
  • Remote investigation of breakdowns and submit fixes.

Who You Are

Qualifications
  • Secondary education in electronics/electrical or 3-4 years equivalent experience in a combination of education and experience
  • Must have proven skill level to interpret blueprints and other service documents, including but not limited to, specifications, reporting, and quality requirements
  • Relevant experience with system infrastructure equipment
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business procedures and documents
  • Problem solver and Team player who can also work independently
  • Proficient computer skills
  • You are fluent in Dutch and French, with a good command of English
  • Possess a valid driver’s license
  • Has or is willing to obtain a certification in safety (VCA) and electrical competence (BA4/BA5) or equivalent
