The Role
Together with a team of project leaders, project engineers and technical experts, you will develop the next generation of our water-injected and scroll compressors and improve the quality of the existing ranges. Your mission is to develop the best oil-free products.

Your daily responsibilities will be:
  • Improve the reliability of our compressors in general
  • Implement connectivity in our products to accomplish preventive maintenance
  • Monitor and follow up field units to detect early failures
  • Analyze quality issues, finding the root cause and solutions
  • Investigate the technical feasibility for new developments
  • Define the technical solution following all specifications and customer requirements
  • Take ownership into defining a test plan and following-up prototype validation tests
  • Select and calculate the different components
  • Coordinate all design-related tasks, with the designer and our engineering center
  • Work with suppliers on prototype deliveries, production processes and cost reductions
  • Write technical specifications for different components
  • Following-up prototype build-up events and securing improvements are implemented
  • Work with production engineers and service specialists, to secure design-for-assembly and design-for-service

You will report to Teamleader Engineering.

This is a hybrid position with the main location onsite based in Antwerp, Belgium.

What we expect of you?
  • You have a master degree in engineering or equivalent through experience
  • You have solid technical skills in electromechanical engineering, both theoretically and practically
  • You are fluent in English
