Are you passionate about software quality, challenging problems and delivering a great customer experience in a world of creative marketing solutions? Then you are the QA Engineer we’re looking for at Selligent.
As a Junior QA Engineer you will be part of a cross-functional development team and work together with other engineers in a scaled agile setting to support the development of the core product of Selligent Marketing Cloud by:
  • Identifying implementation and design mistakes early in the development by creating the necessary test plans and test cases
  • Ensuring the quality of our software updates by executing and validating test runs
  • Implementing and maintaining automated tests: integration testing, API testing, system testing, UI testing, white box testing, etc.
Together, sprint after sprint, you deliver mission critical infrastructure and ensure the highest level of quality.
You will work internally in our Hasselt office.
Profile
  • Enjoyed a higher education in IT/Engineering or equivalent through experience
  • Passion for quality and attention to detail
  • Be a real team player
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional engineering teams and stakeholders
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficient in English, Dutch and French are a plus
  • Knowledge about Agile & Test-driven Development is a plus
Qualifications
As a junior, we expect you to be eager to learn about our product (Selligent Marketing Cloud) and our QA processes to ensure that the features delivered by your team are of the highest possible quality.
  • Basic experience in writing test plans and test cases
  • Basic experience in test automation development
  • Basic knowledge of HTML, Javascript, SQL, Scripting, or programming languages
  • You can rate a good user experience and suggest improvements to the team
  • Understanding of software QA/Testing methodologies is a plus (ISTQB)
  • Hands-on experience with Cypress, Robot Testing Framework or experience with other script-based testing frameworks is a plus
  • Experience with UI browser level automation (local/cloud based, CSS, ...) is a plus
  • Experience with version control and bug tracking systems like Git is a plus
  • Ability to script within python is a plus
  • Experience with SaaS environments is a plus
