About Our Client

Our client is a major player in the food sector and they invest a lot in the well-being of their employees.

Job Description

As a (Junior) Transport Support you’ll support the Transport Planners so they can perform their job in an optimal way.

Tasks:

  • SAP transport related master data:
    • Routes
    • Transport cost price tables and automatic calculation
    • Vendors
    • Shopping carts
    • Purchase Orders
  • Transport invoice verification


You’ll also serve as a back-up for the Transport Planner :

  • Daily transport planning in SAP, based on product availability check and in accordance with customer requests.
  • Transport order handling
  • Transport-related complaint handling, contact and follow up with the transport companies. Set up of corrective action and informing customers accordingly.
  • Update and maintenance of tendered transport prices according to agreements reached with the transport companies.
  • Check and approval of transport invoices.
  • DHL shipments: document preparation and ensuring timely pick-up.
  • Cooperation with colleagues from the Customer Service Department and other internal departments: e.g. warehouses (different site in Belgium), production sites, external loading places, etc.

The Successful Applicant

We are looking for a (Junior) Transport Support that:

  • Bachelor in Logistics Management, International Trade, ... link with the logistics/transport in general
  • Languages: French/English or Dutch/English
  • Good knowledge of Excel (SAP is a plus)
  • Strong analytical and communication skills is very important. You also have to be flexible, hands-on and motivated.
