What’s your daily job & daily reality?

At RingRing, our business is growing at full speed, so our platforms have to keep up with the pace in order to anticipate the next evolutions!

Your primary focus will be the development of all core platform server-side logic, definition and maintenance of the central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the applications and frontends.

Responsibilities

  • Creating scalable software platforms that are unit tested, code reviewed and checked regularly for continuous integration
  • Developing and maintaining our core server-side platform components
  • Collaborating with applications and front-end developers on the integration of elements
  • Identifying bottlenecks and bugs in the systems and develop solutions
  • Being the technical reference for the NodeJS developers’ team
  • Recommending and implementing improvements to processes and technologies

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or equivalent
  • Experience as a NodeJS Lead developer
  • 5 or more years of experience with NodeJS
  • English language proficiency
  • Strong knowledge of REST standard
  • Knowledge of SQL (MySQL), RabbitMQ, Kafka
  • Experience with NoSQL database (we use CouchBase)
  • Knowledge of Redis is a plus
  • Knowledge of gRPC is a plus
  • Good knowledge of at least one CI/CD tool: Azure DevOps, OctopusDeploy
  • Able to create and maintain technical documentation
  • Strong analytics and debugging skills
  • Practical experience in MicroService Architecture (on Docker – Kubernetes)
  • Great organizational and time management skills.

Fluent in English ( fluent in French & Dutch is a big plus)
