Job Description

In the position of FedEx Linehaul Supervisor, you will support the Deputy Manager by supervising a team of Linehaul Resource Planning Agents and Drivers. You will help to maintain and improve operational safety, efficiency, cost and service levels.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure employees are treated consistently and fairly and are motivated.

Initiate and perform actions needed to ensure that service levels are achieved

Ensure that that team correctly understand goals and service objectives.

Ensure that safe, secure and operationally compliant working practices are adhered to during the shift.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

Preferred experience / knowledge

• Bachelor or equivalent by experience
• Experience in managing a shift and team in a busy operational environment is desirable.
• Ability to manage own and teams time effectively with attention to detail.
• Have prior knowledge of Domestic and International Road transportation.
• Strong process and co-ordination skills
• Knowledge of legal requirements regarding transportation
• Knowledge of TNT/Fedex schedules and road network systems
• Fluent in French, English (verbal and written)
• Knowledge of Dutch and/or German is an asset
