For a client in Liege , I’m looking for a Junior/Medior Linux engineer

As an IT Infrastructure System Engineer Junior ++ (m/f), you are part of the IT Department . You will integrate one of the 3 teams of the department - the Infrastructure team which is composed of 5 people but you work in close collaboration with the Application team (5 people) and the Service Desk (5 people). Each team has its coordinator who is himself supervised by the IT Operations Manager.

You will participate with the help of your senior colleagues in the design, deployment and maintenance of the systems. You will help in the management of the physical and virtual infrastructure, and you participate in the design of the system and network architecture as well as the related security strategy.

In Concrete Terms, Your Missions Are As Follows
  • Ensure the proper functioning of the day-to-day infrastructure (network, hyperconverged infrastructure, servers, virtual machines, firewalls, storage, backup, Cloud);
  • Participate in the development and implementation of the necessary resources within the framework of business projects.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of solutions aimed at optimization, resilience, management of the obsolescence of the infrastructure in place;
  • Create the necessary technical documentation and procedures;
  • Ensure consistency, automation and standardization of solutions;
  • Monitor related news and assess the relevance for the organization
  • Ensure the resolution of incidents/problems related to the systems
Your profile
  • You are passionate about IT Infrastructure, and you are curious about technological - advances related to your field of activity;
  • Result-oriented, you are rigorous, methodical, organized and you know how to show tenacity;
  • You demonstrate a real ability to analyze, take a step back and synthesize.
  • You like to work in a team but you are also autonomous in the performance of your duties.
  • French and English (technical) required
