Marketing Automation Specialist

Function


The role of the Marketing Automation Specialist is to optimise marketing & sales processes and set up new automated marketing campaigns through marketing technology solutions in order to increase revenue, nurture and convert leads into customers and improve customer experience.


Core responsibilities:


  • Developing and executing the global marketing automation plan to acquire & retain customers and maximize sales through all digital channels;
  • Building end-to-end marketing automation campaigns and planning campaigns in order to retain & attract customers and increase the average value and lifetime value of a customer;
  • Drive customer segmentation and build foundations for a personalised experience and making sure segmentation & personalisation information is added to the necessary tools & systems (such as CRM), by collaborating with IT teams & taking into account the data structures of the different platforms;
  • Taking the lead to organise workshops, status meetings & alignment meetings with all stakeholders. Be an evangelist to the regional teams about the new way of working, motivating, involving and guiding them through the new processes;
  • Prospecting to get to know new concepts, new visions, innovating communication means and internet trends in order to be able to work out ideas for new digital projects or channels and/or to improve existing marketing activities.

The checks in the box:


  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role or related experience;
  • Good understanding of key B2B marketing program metrics and marketing funnel;
  • Basic technical knowledge of CRM, CDP, DMP tools and platforms;
  • Proficiency in tools such as Selligent, Marketo,..
  • Analytical mindset, well structured, problem solving approach and attitude;
  • Ability to work independently and effectively within the team;
  • Passionate about trends and new products, curious and continuously developing strategic marketing skills.
