11 million inhabitants and over 200.000 points of sale: your data challenge

These two figures arouse your curiosity and your need to analyse? At SIRIUS Insight this will be your mission. Investigate all types of data and provide advice. Who is the client’s customer? Who should they target? How do customers/prospects behave? On which groups should they focus their efforts? Where to find the target group? Where should they open points of sale? By using the appropriate data and tools you will answer these different questions.

Your missions at SIRIUS Insight are particularly varied and you can count on the support of an expert team to achieve them.

• You participate actively in client briefings to understand their challenges.
• You help to determine the appropriate solution in regard of their objectives.
• You are responsible for carrying out the suggested analyses with the support of you analytics colleagues.
• You visualise information in such a way that it is intelligible and attractive. You create maps, graphs, reports, presentations or interactive dashboards (PowerBI, Tableau, ...).
• You present your observations and recommendations to the clients.
• You detect interesting opportunities for the development of the client.

Analytical skills and a mindset of continuous improvement: the profile of our future colleague

We are looking for a colleague that easily empathises with the environment of the client. He/she dives into various types of data and is able to recommend actions. You do not fully meet the requirements, but you are willing to expand your knowledge? Feel free to apply as well.

Experiences and skills

• You have a business-oriented master’s degree (economics, business management), a scientific master’s degree or an equivalent education or experience.
• You “speak” R and Python or have at least notions.
• You are fluent in French or Dutch, and you are able to work in the other language and in English.
• You have the necessary technical or statistical background to carry out analyses.
• If you are interested in modelling and AI you will have the opportunity to use and develop these skills.

Personal skills

• You have outstanding interpersonal skills.
• You understand the needs and challenges of clients.
• You can explain methods simply and recommend actions.
• You are autonomous but also a team player.
• You plan your work.
• You question practices and have the ability to easily learn new tools, methods, languages, etc.
