Dark Light is specialized in staffing business intelligence & data projects. We work with data-driven companies that want to grow to the next level. For one of our clients, which is located in the region of West-Flanders, we are looking for a Master Data Specialist.TasksAs a Master Data Specialist, you are in charge of ensuring that this company’s expansion and projects are all supported on a data level. This is not an administrative function but one where critical & analytical thinking is key.
  • You function as the first point of contact for data-related questions and know how to respond smoothly to changes.
  • As a gatekeeper, you take into account the impact that changes can have on various business departments (Planning, Finance, Production, Marketing, etc.). Where necessary, you coordinate with colleagues to reach a consensus.
  • Besides the day-to-day operational workload, you will support various projects together with the Master Data Team and collaborate on reporting. Here, the team has a central role as a bridge between the IT consultants and business departments. The team ensures that there is sufficient balance and variation in each role between operational tasks and projects.
  • You will contribute to the further growth of the Master Data Team and think critically about how operational tasks can be improved
Requirements
  • You are IT-minded and have a good knowledge of Excel. You enjoy immersing yourself in different tools and systems and have a strong interest in ERP
  • You have an analytical mind. You like to work accurately and efficiently, have an eye for detail, but know how to keep the overall picture.
  • Thanks to your critical thinking and reasoning skills, you set the right priorities and know how to process data ’first-time-right’.
  • Prior experience is a plus but not a deal breaker
