THE SCOPE

As part of its sustained growth, Gaming1 is looking for a Network engineer to join its Infra team.

As a Network & Security Engineer, you are part of the team responsible for the management of the Group’s IT infrastructure. You are in charge of the network infrastructure as well as of the security of all the systems.

YOUR ROLE

• Be entrusted with the analysis, design and implementation of technical solutions in the network domain

• Based on analyses, implement LAN- (data centre) and WAN-type solutions and ensure the configuration of equipment, such as switches, routers and firewalls

• advise, develop and participate in the setup of new infrastructure and provide support to development teams during the implementation of projects
• provide 3rd level support and also provide back-up assistance to your 1st and 2nd level colleagues.
  
  

YOUR PROFILE

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science at least 5 years’ experience in a similar function

• in-depth knowledge of network technologies and protocols (TCP/IP)

• Master the configuration of network products, such as switches, routers and firewalls

• good understanding of security, security tools and network management (firewall, proxy, DNS, mail relay, VPN, etc.) as well as of the implementation and management of the BGP protocol

• One or several types of certification (CCNA/JNCIA/NSA/...) is an added bonus

• Knowledge of the following technologies is an asset: CloudFlare, JunOS, VMware vCenter, Linux Debian, Zabbix, etc

• Good team player, you like working in groups, while also being able to work independently

• customer- and results-oriented, organised and have a good analytical mind

• ability to solve problems is one of your key strengths

• Take your responsibility for your work and adopt a flexible approach to your tasks

• natural curiosity and interest in new technologies motivates you to stay continually up to date

• fluent in French and English
