For one of our clients, an international and innovative player in the food industry, we are looking for a Finance Business Partner to co-drive the Business Unit’s financial performance and business growth together with the regional General Manager.


Your job:

As Finance Business Partner you will be representing finance inside the regional Business unit, actively contributing as a member of the unit Management team, helping them understanding, controlling and improving “their business”, by bringing insight to decision-making, improving visibility on the cost drivers, adding financial acumen into the strategic initiatives as well the day to day activities.

You will report directly to the VP Finance and dotted line to the regional General Manager. You will also be part of an international Finance leadership team, contributing to elevate the finance function to the next level.


Responsibilities

  • Business Partnering

Strategically partner with the regional General Manager and Unit Leadership Team

  • in achieving financial targets & driving profitable growth through in-depth analyses, sharing of key financial insights (standard and ad-hoc reporting) and
  • in taking day to day and strategic business financial decisions.
  • From Insight to Action

Building & sharing the story behind the numbers, propose recommendations, align corrective actions with GM and Unit Leadership Team and co-drive the execution.

  • Financial planning

Includes forecasting, estimates and supporting the strategic direction for the unit and developing these into short (Forecast), medium (Budget) and long-term plans (LRP).

  • Process Improvement

Be source of proposals regarding existing processes improvement and simplification in alignment with Controlling department.


Your profile:

  • Master / Bachelor’s degree Business, Accounting, Economics or similar
  • Solid track record in finance
  • Previous controlling and/or financial managementrole in a manufacturing environment is mandatory
  • Ability to work, influence and drive inside a matrix environment
  • Fluency in English is mandatory
  • You have a strong analytical and numerical mind who is confident to work with complex and big amounts of data. You can communicate efficiently with senior management.
  • You possess a can-do attitude with a positive forward-looking mind-set and the ability to navigate through ambiguity and to challenge the status-quo.
  • To enhance organizational effectiveness, you are a team player who works cooperatively with others and finally a problem solver who identifies causes of problem situations and recommends solutions.
