Who are you in our On IT story?

Do you like to be on the road and do you get satisfaction from solving IT problems at customers? As an Onsite Delivery Engineer you combine technology, variation and customer focus in one dynamic position. No two days are the same – you make sure everything works, quickly and professionally, on site and behind the scenes.

• Perform 3 to 4 appointments per day with clients
• Install and configure laptops, workstations and peripherals
• Assisting end users with initial login and testing of functionality
• Collection and delivery of IT material from stock locations (e.g. Malle, Zedelgem)
• Install basic network components such as switches, access points and firewalls (pre-configured by colleagues)
• Collect and return defective equipment or completed installations

On-site technical support

• Perform basic to more extensive technical interventions
• Solving common problems and malfunctions
• Consult by phone with internal support or escalation points for more complex issues
• Document actions performed and provide feedback to the support team

• Preparing installations and equipment
• Patching and configuring laptops or hardware
• Assist with service desk escalations
• Support other IT teams if needed

Qualifications:

Education & experience

• You have a degree in an IT field or have accumulated equivalent experience.
• This position is also ideal for internal IT profiles who would like to move into a more customer-focused, varied, on-site role.

Technical knowledge

• Basic knowledge of network installations (switches, access points, firewalls)
• Experience with patching and installing laptops
• Knowledge of Microsoft Intune is a plus
• Analytical thinking and ability to quickly assess situations and solve problems
