Are you passionate about providing top-notch IT support? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment where you can make a real difference? We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Onsite IT Support Engineer to join our team and provide exceptional technical assistance to our users.

Responsibilities

  • Install, upgrade, support, and troubleshoot Windows, Mac, and authorized desktop software/applications.
  • Install, upgrade, support, and troubleshoot end-user workspace hardware, including desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, video and conferencing equipment, and peripherals.
  • Perform general preventative maintenance on devices and software.
  • Follow and execute instructions provided by Subject Matter Experts.
  • Provide onsite hands-on support to TCS/Customer/OEM SMEs for installation, upgrades, support, and troubleshooting of devices in the network and compute environment.
  • Assist users with logged IT-related incidents.
  • Take ownership of issues, perform problem analysis, and implement temporary or permanent fixes to restore service quickly.
  • Escalate incidents to other support teams when necessary.
  • Accurately record, update, and document requests using the IT service desk system.
  • Maintain a high level of customer service, treating all users efficiently and respectfully.
  • Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical colleagues at all levels.
  • Work effectively in a team and manage changing priorities.
  • Create, maintain, and publish support documentation for end-users.
  • Attend training to stay updated on the latest technologies and internal processes.
  • Contribute to reporting as required.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned, within your skillset.
Required Skills

  • Fluent in English and French (Dutch is a strong plus).
  • Good general understanding of IT principles, including networks, hardware, and domains.
  • Working knowledge of leading software applications.
  • Strong experience in end-user device hardware and software troubleshooting.
  • Good working knowledge of operating systems, including Windows and Mac, and related software and applications.
  • Awareness of data backup principles.
