Position: Operations Manager | Location: Zellik | Sector: Cold Chain (-22°C)

Are you ready to lead in a dynamic and impactful logistics environment? As an Operations Manager at GXO Logistics in Zellik, you will play a key role in managing daily operations at our large-scale cold chain facility. Leading a team of 90 to 100 employees in a complex multi-customer environment, this is your opportunity to coach, inspire, and continuously drive improvement in a fast-growing, international setting.

What You Will Do

• Oversee operational performance, foster a strong safety culture, and drive continuous improvement using LEAN methodologies
• Lead and coach teams while promoting a positive, safe, and productive work environment
• Actively participate in social dialogue and represent GXO in union discussions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new processes and support start-ups
• Monitor KPIs and customer-focused metrics, taking proactive action when targets are at risk
• Ensure full compliance with company policies and legal standards, covering HR, safety, and operations
• Manage workforce planning, training, and skills development across multiple shifts and departments
• Build sustainable relationships with internal and external customers and stakeholders
• Promote environmental awareness across all operations

What You Bring

• Proven experience in logistics or supply chain operations, ideally in complex multi-customer environments
• Strong leadership background with expertise in people management, coaching, and leading high-performance teams
• Experience working in a cold chain environment (comfortable with -22°C conditions)
• Skilled in social dialogue and union negotiations, with excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Fluency in French, Dutch, and English
• Hands-on mentality with resilience and flexibility to handle challenges and change
