PHP Developer

Trasys International offers IT Consulting jobs at the European Institutions andInternational Organizations.

For a project at the European Commission premises in Brussels, Trasys International is looking for an expert with PHP skills in development and architecture.

Your main responsibilities:

• Architecture and design of information systems;
• Review of the architecture of existing systems;
• Design and development of architecture components and building blocks;
• Analysis of the integration of different information systems;
• Data analysis and data modelling;
• Coordination of the implementation of the technical architecture;
• Technical interface between the project leaders and the developers;
• Production of software architecture documents;
• Participation in technical working groups, progress meetings and meetings with
  the users;
• Assistance during relevant parts of testing, analysis, technical documentation,
  deployment, evaluation and reporting.

• You have a Master’s level or 5 years of higher education in Information Technology or equivalent by experience;
• You have at least 13 years of experience in similar tasks;
• Excellent verbal communication skills and ability to participate in multilingual meetings in English and to understand, speak, and write in English (C1 level);
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in development of information systems with PHP/Symfony;
• Very good experience with relational databases;
• Very good experience with web application development;
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in architecture and design of information systems
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in PHP;
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in developing secure web applications;
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in Object Oriented and Model-View-Controller (MVC) methodologies;
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in relational databases (Oracle, MySQL, ...);
• Minimum 2 years’ experience with SQL language;
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in the development of graphical user interfaces;
• Minimum 2 years’ experience with Javascript;
• Minimum 3 years’ experience with HTML5, CSS, and responsive design methodology;
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in development of web services or interoperability solutions;
• Minimum 2 years’ experience with JIRA and/or GIT.

As a Personal Security Clearance of level "EU SECRET/SECRET EU" might be requested for this profile, only candidates with a valid EU citizenship will be taken into consideration.
