In the Supply Chain department we are looking for a driven Fibrous Planner.

The planner is central between sales and production and represents both interests in line with the business objectives. He/she takes the lead in the process of fibrous stock levels and paper stock. The planner is responsible for the distribution of orders in line with the transport schedule.

The candidate will be responsible for:

  • Key decisions related to production of Fibrous product line in Lommel plant
  • Daily scheduling of production as well as mid/long-term capacity planning so the On Time Delivery/Service Satisfaction targets are met
  • Lead and maintain daily communication and alignment with key internal stakeholders (Sales Service, Sales, Production, Quality etc) both within Lommel plant and other ViskoTeepak entities. Set-up, organise and lead monthly Sales and Ops meetings with key internal stakeholders,
  • Management of intercompany orders,
  • Communication and management of core raw material – fibrous paper - supply, including control of product and paper stock based on historical data and sales information,
  • Reporting on the production lines and the impact on the product mix,
  • A reduction in production loss by ensuring optimal planning,
  • Backup for WP planning
  • Participate in/Lead projects to continuously improve planning processes. Identify, follow-up and advise on risks, opportunities and priorities to aid tactical and strategic decision making.
  • Work according to established quality and safety regulations,
  • The communication between production and sales according to our company values Trust, Ambition, Fun,

For this position we are looking for a candidate who:

  • has completed a bachelor’s degree, preferably in an economic or logistics direction,
  • has already gained experience in a similar position is a plus
  • is familiar with ERP/MRP software
  • can analyse large volume of data using MS Excel
  • is strong in organizing and reporting
  • strong in communication and collaboration
  • is versatile and flexible,
  • can demonstrate sufficient sense of responsibility,
  • have a good knowledge of English, both written and oral
