PowerBI Developer

The consultant(s) put forward for this assignment must have sound experience in the activities described below, with following key skills:

• leading topics by himself until its full achievement
• real team player and aware of cross-cultural working
• autonomous behaviour
• fluent in English and in Dutch or French but Dutch is preferred
• familiar with the Agile methodology and experienced in SCRUM/KANBAN
• Openness for looking “under the hood”
• Ability to work under pressure and dealing with constraints
• Strong discipline in documentation

Technical skills

• Power BI : Experienced
• SQL : Experienced
• VBA : Experienced

Functional skills

• Good knowledge of physical commodities trading: (biomass and coal in particular) including logistic and stock management (shipping overseas, inland transportation, storages) and financial derivatives (future, forwards, swaps, options, etc.) : Experienced
• Good knowledge of key indicators such as PnL, MtM, S-P… to assist business in reconciling economical and accounting PnL : Experienced
• Experience in Front to back processes and ETRM systems (Orchestrade, Allegro, OpenLink, or equivalent) : Experienced
• Good understanding of complex information systems, business processes, and software development: Experienced
• Proactive, ability to take initiatives in its own area of responsibilities, solution oriented and feedback oriented: Experienced

Expected deliverables

• Monthly Time Track
• Activity report
• KPI dashboard
• Backlog up to date
• Daily/ weekly/ monthly reportings to deliver upon business requests (Front to back: FO, operators, back office, accounting…) mainly on Power BI (e.g., daily PnL explained, volume per counterparty, stock delta…)

Summary of mandatory requirements

• Experience: Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in domain
• Languages: English + Dutch or French MANDATORY
• Start: This is a freelance position. We are looking for freelancers that are able to start ASAP
