We are looking for aProcess Engineer (permanent contract) for one of our production site in Belgium, Malmedy. As Process Engineer, you are part of Nonwoven Production team specializing in wallcovering and filtration, in a spirit of innovation, flexibility, quality and safety. Under the responsibility of the Quality Manager, your main missions will be to identify and lead mid and short term projects to make performance improvements in terms of quality, productivity, cost reduction, machine efficiencies, waste reduction while continuously complying with health, safety and environment standards.Key responsibilities:



  • To continuously search, test, implement and share new production processes and technics to move towards operational excellence
  • To identify, prioritize, lead improvement programs (e.g. safety, quality, service, productivity)
  • To use Lean methodology to drive sustainable improvements
  • To use document production processes and train operational employees
  • To design and implement trials for various products and and/or process changes
  • To assist operational team in case of technical issues
  • To propose, promote and lead innovative manufacturing processes and technics for new products
  • To participate to investment projects
  • To insure process follow up with production, maintenance and quality teams
Needed competencies:



  • Master of Science of Ph.D. in paper technology or equivalent engineering degree
  • English and French proficiency (both are mandatory)
  • End-To-End Process Understanding
  • Precision, thoroughness, analytical mind, easy communication
  • Driving results for value
  • HSE management
  • Process Development
  • Word, Excel, Powerpoint
Needed experience:



  • 2 - 5 years of experience in process engineering
