Process Manager – Operations & Logistics

The Job

You will be responsible within the Global Quality Department for defining the governance and developing policies and SOP’s in the area of global supply chain and logistics processes (maritime shipping, warehousing, local transportation), guiding and monitoring compliance and related certification activities as well as identifying and sharing best practices across our operating companies around the world.

Your main tasks and responsibilities include:

• Governance of assurance topics within the scope of the Quality department
• Generation of Policies and Standard Operating Procedures on supply chain, logistics processes, operational activity, and health & safety.
• Identifying best practices and improvement options including corrective actions that result from external compliance audits.
• Guiding ISO Certification (ISO QMS9001-2015) in Antwerp HQ and across our network of affiliated companies.
• Collaborating with the Key accounts team on ensuring measurement, tracking and improving the compliance of operations to key client performance standards.
• Reporting directly to the Global Quality & ESG Manager

Your profile

• Someone with a passion about supply chain processes & logistics operations
• Affinity with translating policies and SOP’s in a clear, structured way.
• Someone with a relevant experience in operations, logistics processes with involvement in compliance and assurance controls
• You can generate strategy, policy and process controls to achieve continuous improvement with a practical approach.
• Having experience in process design/applications (e.g. 5S or 6 Sigma) and optimization of operational/logistics practices.
• Optionally experience in guiding/executing ISO certification, auditing or problem solving/cause analysis (e.g. QMS-9001, Enviro-14001, OHS-45001).
• You want to take the next step to global role that matches your ambition and vision
• You are a self-starter aiming for high impact through collaboration & teamwork with a diverse group of colleagues within environments that will challenge you to achieve new levels of performance
• You are fluent in English, speaking Spanish is a plus
• You are willing to travel to all continents in support of our operational team
