At Proximus, our goal is to support customers in their ’Digital Transformation’ journey. We help our customers from the cloud discovery phase to the migration (towards public, or Proximus Cloud) and offering managed services on top of that. We ensure customers can rely on the future-proof solutions (automation, orchestration, software-defined …) that will support their business growth. Within the EBU / ESP (Enterprise Business Unit / Enterprise Solutions & Platforms) department, we’re looking for a Product Manager with a focus on Secure Hybrid Cloud Services. This includes services to assist customers in their Cloud discovery and assessment phases and Managed Services to offer Full Care services in production phase.
Tasks and responsibilities:
- Identify the market needs and the customer’s business requirements into a solution, making sure that budget and timing are respected.
- Manage the development of new solutions with internal stakeholders: procurement, engineering, legal, marketing, operations, customer support, sales, presales…
- Manage the solutions lifecycle, enriching or outphasing them.
- Enrich the strategy with new ideas, and develop programs to meet targets (also contribute to docs for ExCO, Management Committee…).
- Collaborate to the go-to-market plan and develop sales documentation (writing Service Description, product pagers, sales presentation, order forms, pricing calculator ...).
- Actively evangelize the solution within the organization and at customers side (via events, marketing actions, customer visits, training for sales, … ).
- Ensure the financial and operational follow-up of your solutions (P&L, budget, funnel, KPIs reporting) and ownership of the operational plan for your solutions and the 5 year plans.
- Support to sales and presales thanks to value proposals, demos and customers visits. Support on offers or RFPs when needed (P&L, discount strategy, specific aspects). Listening to customer needs to improve your solution.
- Maintain a close relationship with the vendors/partners and third parties: stay aware of the technological evolution, market trends, issues escalation, price negotiation, work on contracts with procurement, define joint sales actions, process improvements, follow up incentives and back end rebates.
Profile
- Master degree combined with 5 to10 years relevant experience in ICT and Cloud domain.
- 3 years’ experience around Public Cloud, Agile methodology and ITIL services.
- You’re a business owner, driving your portfolio to achieve growth, so you have strong financial skills to be in charge of the P&L of the solution (Budget, Capex, Opex, Revenues, Profitability…) and elaborate a Business Case with 5 year plan.
- You have excellent communication and presentation skills, internal but also with external customers: you can explain a complex technical concept in a didactic way. You can challenge a technical conversation with ICT architects or system engineers.
- You are a solution ambassador internally and externally, evangelizing your portfolio also to Top Management.
- You have strong operational skills, «can do» attitude, to deliver results on time. You always put a priority on the customer needs. You show agility and can work in a changing and dynamic environment.
- You are stress resistant, you have good time management, and you can prioritize a backlog of user stories, according to new customer needs. You can analyze a problem and find solutions without referring to the management when possible.
- You are a team player but working autonomously, and you can break the ‘silo mentality’, convincing people to work in team.
- You learn quickly and follow closely the Cloud and Security market evolutions (technology, social media…) to keep your knowledge up to date (Vmware, Azure, Cloud Management portals, automation tooling, containers, Cisco, NetApp, Dell…).
- Languages: French or Dutch and English is a must.
