Inchcape Belgium is the importer, distributor and/or retailer of Toyota, Lexus and BYD for Belgium and Luxemburg.

We are currently looking for an experienced Product Managerfor the brandsToyota and Lexus to be based in Zaventem.

Function

As Product Manager, you manage the brand’s model portfolio and try to maximize our market share through a creative approach.

• In collaboration with the Original Equipment Manufacturer (Toyota Europe), you give feedback and define the model portfolio, taking into account market trends and our customers’ needs.
• You determine the commercial position (market segmentation, customer profiles, Unique Selling Points, pricing, life cycle, ...).
• You monitor the competition in the model portfolio.
• You monitor the performance of the model portfolio and adjust where necessary, both in terms of approach, composition, price, product, billing, etc.
• You build and maintain a relationship with the Original Equipment Manufacturer. You work with them as a partner, negotiate with them on price, service, quality, processes, etc. and ensure that problems are discussed and resolved.
• You ensure that product information is available and complete on the platforms which can be consulted by the network.
• You guarantee correct information about our products in various communications (website, social media, ...).
• You enthuse and inform the network about the products and related actions and campaigns.
• You are the daily point of contact for the network regarding the product portfolio.
• You participate in cross-functional projects (e.g. Car Show).
• You report to the Head of Product Management.

Profile

• Bachelor degree or equivalent through experience
• Min. 3 to 5 years experience in Product Management
• Interest in the automotive sector
• You have an analytical mind and look for solutions.
• You are fluent in Excel and IT systems and/or tools.
• You are organizationally strong, and you approach things in a structured and proactive way.
• You are a team player. You can easily establish relationships with colleagues and external parties. You communicate fluently and are a good listener. Customer focus.
• You know how to negotiate with suppliers.
• You work accurately.
• Result oriented
• You are trilingual (French / Dutch / English).
