Our product team is growing! We at Trimble T&L Europe, are looking for a Product Manager Lead to join our team of innovative employees.

You as our product manager lead

We are looking for someone who will discover the right features, has the ability to explain the delivered value, and has the capability to drive the overall fleet management platform forward, effectively supporting our sales and marketing targets.

You build the business case and create market momentum. Supported by our product managers, you take care of pricing and business models, promotion and the go-to-market strategy as well as the market share, revenue and financial targets, effectively supporting the 12-month product rolling forecast. You will report to the Strategic Marketing Head.

By spending time in the market you’ll get an understanding of our customers’ problems and explore innovative solutions for the broader market. Owning the core platform roadmap, and in coordination with the team and business development management, you gain consensus and approval, and build a sound plan based on feasibility assessments and ballpark estimates, to ensure end-to-end delivery, and follow up after market launch.

When steering requirements and supporting the detailed product definition, you frequently touch base with stakeholders, customers, developers and architects. You are responsible for the team ensuring consistency between the development output and the requirements, the overall strategy and roadmap fit. To make our fleet management platform progress:

• You are well aware of the product backlog and are able to build a compelling product roadmap

• You’re able to detail the roadmap and engage stakeholders in the company

• You ensure decision-making, including sequencing of the critical technological components that support the business functionalities

• You can anticipate and mitigate risks, and are able to renegotiate priorities with stakeholders when new discoveries impact the size or value of work, by clearly communicating trade-offs, status, release content and dates

• You support go-to-market activities and actively set up customer workshops and cross-functional teams

When going to market, you are responsible to set everything in place for the launch. You provide sales and marketing content and you ensure that our sales representatives are fully informed about the product.

Your skills & experience

• Proven working experience as product manager lead, steering all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle

• Deep understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development, SaaS and web technologies

• Industry experience in Iot, Mapping, Transportation, Logistics, Automotive or Distribution is a must

• Knowledge of transportation technologies and interfaces are valuable assets

• Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job done

• Skilled at working effectively with cross-functional teams in a matrix and extremely agile organization

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• MS/BS degree and MBA or equivalent preferred
