We are currently looking for a: Project Design Engineer

Job description:

  • Involved in the planning and drawing of vehicle’s seats and interior parts.
  • Collect local manufacturing companies & supplier requirements and incorporate them into official drawings through initial draft to production drawings.
  • Initiate and follow up feasibility studies, engineering changes, drawing release, make summary list and report KPIs to management.
  • Join project preparation activity in Japan & other TBEU plants (France, Poland, Turkey and South Africa) as well as with suppliers across Europe.
  • Achieve cost reduction (VE, VA) activities for different plant projects.
  • Responsible for testing prototype parts to confirm design structure or proposal concept.
  • Execute internal / external benchmarking activities and technology trend analysis in Europe-African region.

Requirements:

  • Degree in engineering field.
  • Ideally 3 years’ experience in design or project engineering role.
  • Knowledge of CATIA or any other design software.
  • Business fluency in English.
  • Strong communication skill, team player
  • Ability to prepare technical drawings for serial & prototype production.
  • Willing to travel on business trip during work days (mainly short visits to suppliers and our manufacturing plants in Europe)
