As an ideal candidate, you are a dedicated Project Engineer IoT / automation with a passion for innovation and integration. Your technical proficiency and problem-solving skills will ensure the seamless implementation of cutting-edge solutions in a regulated environment.

  • You build expertise in our industrial IoT edge systems focused on environmental monitoring.
  • You take ownership of various projects to ensure their successful execution.
  • You communicate and collaborate effectively across teams.
  • You manage technical realization, including integration, configuration, and deployment.
  • You apply GMP standards, validation, and documentation processes rigorously.
  • You provide support and implement improvements in systems.
  • You maintain excellent working relationships with users and stakeholders in production, maintenance, engineering, and QA.

Requirements

  • You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, automation, electronics, or an equivalent field.
  • You have at least 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • You possess strong analytical skills and logical reasoning capabilities.
  • You have a strong affinity for software and computer systems.
  • You demonstrate excellent communication skills.
  • You are proficient in Dutch and English.
  • You have knowledge of automation systems (PLC, OPC, I/O).
  • You are familiar with database technology (SQL) and networking.
  • You have a solid understanding of DevOps, Docker, and GitLab.
  • You are knowledgeable in software development (e.g., .NET, Python, Angular).
  • You are familiar with message queuing (ActiveMQ, MQTT), REST APIs, and Node-RED.
  • You have knowledge of electrical engineering.
