Responsibilities

Your core mission is to provide the necessary technical expertise and support in order to develop and propose new OEM solutions with maximum customer fit, while optimizing the costs by looking for standardization with existing products. Therefore, all compressor technologies available within Industrial Air will be part of the product scope.

You work closely with marketing and the Business Development Manager OEM’s and report to the Engineered Solutions Manager. In this global role you will be located in Antwerp, Belgium.

You will build the technical expertise to support our existing OEM customers and to grow the business with new OEM customers.

Youare a strong communicator and you are excellent in organizing and priority setting. You are a winner type, who is motivated by challenges and working towards deadlines. You are passionate about developing new products by discussing and translating customer requirements into technical specifications. You look forward to the interaction with our customers and to discover new applications.

The Role

Profile

• Master in Engineering
• Minimum 3 years of experience in 3D designing of industrial products within an Engineering function as Design/Project engineer
• Experienced in Autodesk Inventor. Knowledge of BPCS, Vault, Project Management applications (MS Projects) is a plus
• Advanced competence of MS-Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint) is needed
• Proven project management skills with records of excellent interpersonal, influencing and communication skills
• Demonstrated capability to lead and work with cross-functional teams
• Demonstrated ability to translate customer requirements into good technical specifications
• Strong facilitation skills, ability to work on several projects in parallel;
• Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks while meeting deadlines in self directed role
• Business affinity & Customer focus: establish an excellent relationship with your internal and your external customers. Always keep the customer focus alive during the project.
• Result driven: take action in a consequent manner, be goal oriented within the fixed deadlines.
