Mitsubishi Chemical Advanced Materials NV is marktleider in de verwerking van technische kunststoffen en composiet-materialen die de eigenschappen van metalen en andere materialen overtreffen.

Mitsubishi Chemical Advanced Materials NV is wereldwijd fabrikant en verdeler van halffabrikaten (platen, staven en buizen) en eindproducten uit technische kunststoffen, gaande van polyamide en polyester tot hoogwaardige polyimide. Onze producten worden hoofdzakelijk ingezet voor industriële toepassingen.

In onze afdeling Creative Moulding Solutions worden spuitgietproducten ontworpen, geproduceerd en geassembleerd voor volgende industrieën: automotive, electriciteit-electronica, medische industrie en diverse mechanische toepassingen.


Op zoek naar een Project & Engineering Manager

As a Project & Engineering Manager you manage the projects and engineering teams to deliver a combination of strategic capital projects and also continuous improvements in the engineering standards for the Extrusion, Compression Moulding, Injection moulding, Engineered Solution and Distribution businesses located at Tielt. Therefore you take the following responsibilities:
  • You initiate developments in order to be in line with all requirements and standards concerning safety-, environment and our KAITEKI principles;
  • You review the technology deployed on site and together with R&D propose a technology road map for the site and associated capital projects to deliver changes;
  • You develop and manage the engineering standards to be used on the Tielt site and ensure they comply with appropriate nation and company standards;
  • You are responsible for developing and defining the capital program for the Tielt site. Any proposed project shall have a clearly defined purpose and agreed benefits that align to the site strategy;
  • You deliver the agreed capital program to the highest safety and KAITEKI standards and to the budgets and approved capital values for each project;
  • You manage, coach and develop your people in all aspects, provide them and yourself with training and new essential technical know-how and you ensure all HR workflows are followed.

Wat wordt er van jou verwacht?

  • You have a master’s degree in Industrial Engineering (Electromechanics/Process Engineering);
  • You have at least 10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, of which at least 5 years in leading technology teams through improvement programs;
  • Experience in deployment of continuous improvement tools and leading technology change projects is indispensable;
  • You are a driven project manager;
  • You have knowledge of manufacturing technologies used in the plastics conversion industry;
  • You are fascinated by Lean Management and 6sigma principles;
  • You have the drive to continuously improve and can quickly deal with changes;
  • You are a master in planning & prioritizing and being resultdriven is one of your core qualities ;
  • You have a good knowledge of Dutch and English;
  • As a born people manager you succeed in continuously empowering your colleagues;
  • You are a hands- on manager who sees opportunities instead of problems and who makes quick and thoughtful decisions;
  • You built and maintain cross-site relationships;
